Here at Oldham Bethel we believe the church is not a building but a group of people. It is not where we go but who we are. This means church involves much more than a meeting on Sunday morning.
Throughout the week we want to meet together and spend time with one another as a real community. We take as our example the Early Church, summed up in this verse: “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers” (Acts 2:42). This is what a real church ought to be and through these things we hope to grow together in our love for the Lord, love for the lost and love for one another.
