David is the senior pastor of Motherland Baptist Church (MBC) in Myanmar. He is married to Lun with 3 children. The church, bible college and orphanage are all based in Yangon (formerly Rangoon when the country was called Burma).

MBC equips its members to build their faith and be active in reaching the lost people of Myanmar who are mainly Buddhist in the central regions and animist in the rural areas, such as Chin State where David originates from. Yangon remains the largest city in Myanmar although no longer the capital. There are many slum areas and this is a focus of the mercy ministries of MBC locally. The orphanage is another mercy ministry where the children are educated, clothed, fed and sheltered.

MBC has 5 mission fields in Rakhine state, Irrawaddy region, Shan state and Yangon region. 50 Christian ministers are trained each year for 40 days on campus and then return to their mission fields and churches.
