David and Ivy Kneale have been working in East Asia since 2007. They have two sons, James and Joshua. They work in a closed country where the only means of access for gospel workers is by securing full-time secular employment and using spare time to support the underground church.
David is an elder at one such church and is actively engaged in the teaching programme. He often preaches on Sundays and also leads bible studies for young professionals. Further to this, both David and Ivy are involved in linking up returnees (those who have studied in the west and come back to their country of origin as believers) with local churches where they can be discipled, continue to hear the gospel taught faithfully and re-acclimatise to the local culture.
