Greater Manchester Community Chaplaincy aims to support men and women following their release from prison. They do this through prayer, counselling, mentoring and practical support.
One such way is through Café Central. This is the hub of GMCC and provides a public space where volunteers & their mentees can meet. It is designed to be a safe environment where those seeking help can sit quietly and discuss the issues they may be struggling with. It may be help with sorting out benefits or finding somewhere to live or just a chat about how things have been going over the past week. This hub is also used for regular Bible study and prayer.
